On Saturday, January 7th, 2006, members of local volunteer fire departments were on hand to recieve training
from LifeFlight, a local pre-hospital air medical transport service, on the proper techniques as to setting up Landing Zones
for these specialized aircraft. The class lasted approximately 3 hours and was held at the Cecil Township VFC #3. Firefighters
from Cecil VFC #3, Cecil #2-Muse VFD, Cecil #1-Lawrence VFD, South Fayette Twp. VFD, Fairview VFD, and Fort Cherry Ambulance
