On Tuesday, October 28th, 2008, Engine Companies 29 (Cecil #2, Muse), 10 (Cecil #3), and 28 (Cecil #1, Lawrence) were dispatched to the alley behind 47 Beech Street in Muse for a reported garage on fire. Chief 29 (R. Zombeck) arrived on-scene and reported a fully involved garage fire. Engine 29 arrived on scene and began attack while Engine 10-1 established a water supply at the hydrant on the corner of Short Street and Beech Street. Truck 29 and Engine 10-3 arrived and sent manpower to the scene. The fire was brought under control within about an hour. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal was called in to investigate.
